by Lee Steer, Nov 23, 2020

If you have missed David discussing the 1960's, 1970's and the 1980's, 1990's don't worry, all of the videos are available to watch on www.artmarketspace.com/news.  David will be discussing the 2000's next week!

This curated  auction comprises 11 fine works that span each decade of the artist’s career starting in the 1960’s  in Australia and ending up to the early 2000’s  in New York, where David Rankin now lives with his wife, the celebrated author Lily Brett.

Each painting carries  a sensible and conservative estimate, which will offer good buying  opportunities. The auction includes rarely seen early and mid-career works that come direct from the  artist’s own studio in New York. Each painting has been  carefully selected from the artist’s studio, as not only an excellent example of the artist’s work, but also as representative of David Rankin’s thoughts, developments, growth and understanding, which are reflected in the paintings of  each era.

The  works are available to view now at www.artmarketspace.com/auctions

The public viewing will take place from Wednesday 25th November through to Sunday 29th November (11am to 5pm daily) at 409 Malvern Road, South Yarra, VIC  3141.  For more information email lee@artmarketspace.com or call on 0414 471 537.
